Cad Designer (multi discipline)

CAD Designer - Piping, Structural & Mechanical

Salary:  £30k + to start, depending on experience

Location: Swansea

Duration: Long Term Contract / Permanent

Our client, a reputable Swansea based Engineering Design Consultancy are expanding and looking to recruit a Multi Discipline CAD Designer. The ideal candidate will have a background in Water Treatment & Sewage, Oil & Gas, Heavy Steel Industry or Process Plant Industry. The role offers the opportunity to be part of a busy team in modern design office, working on innovative, varied, and bespoke projects.

The Role

Produce 3D Designs & Detailed Fabrication Drawings of Process Pipework, Pressure Vessels, Pipe Supports, Storage Tanks, Small Structures, Access Platforms etc.
Undertaking Site Visits & Dimensional Surveys.

Client Liaison & Working as part of a disciplined team

HSE Awareness.

Requirements

• Qualified to HNC / HND or Equiv. minimum.
• Min. 3 years of experience working in one or more of the specified industries.
• 3D Autocad 2018+, AEC, Autocad Plant 3D/Revit and/or Intergraph CADworx Plant 3D.
• Familiarity of working with 3D Point Cloud/Scan data.
• Proven experience in Water Treatment & Sewage, Oil & Gas, Heavy Steel Industry, Manufacturing or Process Industry.
• MS Office Applications
