Totec are an independent recruitment consultancy that provide contract and permanent recruitment services to reputable employers within the technical and engineering sectors. We are currently assisting one of our long standing clients in appointing the following role:

Job title: Production Supervisor / Manager

Industry: Steel / Industrial / Engineering

Employment type: Permanent

Salary / Rate: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience (plus benefits)

The role

To manage all production functions from the design stage through to delivery ensuring the highest quality together with meeting deadlines and minimising costs.

Person specification

· Ideal candidates will be have knowledge/experience of steel fabrication workshop including production planning.

· Previous supervisory or managerial experience is required.

· Candidates will ideally be from a production / plant environment.

· Ideal candidates must be self motivated and well organized with an ability to think clearly and methodically, often under pressure.
