We are looking for a Chief Engineer (II/2) to join a vessel in Singapore circa 11th August 2010. 

The vessel is 3280 Total Propulsion and engine types are MAK.  The vessel will be Bahamas flag so candidates holding current Bahamas Endorsements will be looked upon favourably.  The vessel is planned to remain out in the Far East location for the foreseeable future. 
 
The ideal candidate should have an excellent command of both written and verbal English, have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels from ships crew to suppliers and senior office management. 

The candidate should have a minimum of five years experience of serving as a Chief Engineer on vessels over 3000kw propulsion.  Excellent IT skills will be required and the ability to think outside the box and be proactive will be required.
 
The employment will be on a voyage contract working a rotation of two months on two months off.  The pay will be a daily rate which will be consolidated and paid whilst onboard the vessel only.  The day rate for a suitable candidate will be £235.00 (€270.00 for non UK Residence).
