Chief Engineer

We have an opportunity at our Belfast operation for a Chief engineer. 

Reporting to the Master and Port Engineer, you will be responsible for the efficient, safe operation and upkeep of Company vessels operating primarily in Belfast - UK, meeting all engineering, marine, operational and safety obligations. 

Although based in Belfast, the role may include work in other ports outside your primary operating area.

Position requirements: -

• Engineer officer to a minimum of STCW 95 III/2 <3000kW within 30 miles, or higher
• Experience as Chief Engineer onboard small vessels
• Experience of Deck work advantageous – although training can be provided
• Knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft office
• Familiar with Maritime Rules and Regulation, Codes and Guidelines, ISM Code and ISPS requirements
