Chief Engineer

Totec Marine Division are looking for a Chief Engineer to join a vessel in Mozambique circa 18th March 2010. 

The vessel is British flag, total propulsion is 2984kw Ruston engines. The vessel will be operating outside the 12 mile zone of Mozambique. The ideal candidate will hold a class 1 motor certificate of competence.
 
The rate of pay will be £6200.00 per month paid whilst onboard vessel only.
 
The candidate should have a good understanding of planned maintenance system and issuing jobs etc.  They should also have excellent man management skills to get best out of crew and be able to communicate at all levels.  The Chief Engineer will also be required to stand a watch.
 
The duration will be for approx two months.
